A WWE fez dois anúncios através de sua conta oficial no Twitter, o primeiro é que Mandy Rose e Sonya Deville estarão presentes no Royal Rumble Feminino. O outro anúncio feito foi de que Jeff Hardy estará presente na Royal Rumble Match.

O Royal Rumble será realizado dia 27 de Janeiro em Phoenix, Arizona
